The U.S. President-elect Barack Obama has started a new website, change.gov, and invites users to participate and share their ideas and concerns.
After having a successful website Barackobama.com, where millions of users participated in his campaign and helped him win the presidential elections, Obama wants to continue doing the same with the new website Change.gov.
This website will have all the current information about his new job, the team that works under him, and he invites users to offer ideas for the future of the United States.
You can participate by clicking the “Share Your Vision” link by filling the feedback form.
The Obama website also wants to hear your story:
"The story of the campaign and this historic moment has been your story...Share your story and your ideas, and be part of bringing positive lasting change to this country."
You can share yours by clicking the “Share Your Story” link.
The site will provide updates about Obama’s cabinet members as they are chosen. It will also have blogs and share info about what's happening in the White House. It will also host videos of interest.
They also have a link to apply for jobs in the new government.
David Letterman jokingly talked about Obama’s transition last night and said:
"I think I speak for most Americans when I say, anybody mind if he starts a little early? Would that be a problem?"
I don’t think so. Obama seems to be ready for the job already.
