article imageNovia Scotia: Building Put in Lock-Down After Masked Boys Enter School

By Bob Ewing     Nov 5, 2008 in Crime
Two boys walked into a Dartmouth Nova Scotia school with bandannas covering their faces. Their actions prompted a lock-down.
John Martin Junior High was locked down this afternoon when two boys wearing bandannas over their faces entered the school.
Apparently, the boys were at looking for another youth. Administrators called police and ordered a lock down.
Const. Jeff Carr said "I think they were aware there was an ongoing dispute between one of these kids and one of the students at the school."
When the police arrived the boys were gone but no one was hurt and no weapons were found.
Two suspects were picked up outside the school soon after.
A 14-year-old boy will be held in custody overnight to face charges including uttering threats and wearing a mask in the commission of an offence.
The other boy was released without charge.
