We've heard of making accommodations for all kinds of voters, from lowering the voting booth's height to allowing a designee to cast the ballot. For one Florida group, they are requesting a pretty blinding request: nude voting.
Tampa, Florida is anything but a small community. With nearly 400,000 residents and considered part of the Tampa Bay Area, comprised of St. Petersburg, Clearwater, and Florida MSA, the larger four-county area boasts of some 3 million residents combined.
Tampa is reported to have one of the highest populations of Gay and Lesbians and is in the top ten for party cities in the United States. So saying that the area is diverse is anything but an understatement.
An area group of some pretty unique people have requested a rather interesting modification in the voting process.

Caliente Resorts want a clothing-optional polling site to parallel their clothing-optional resort and lifestyle and according to an
Associated Press report:
The Caliente Resorts, located in Pasco County north of Tampa, has approached election officials about the idea.
Nothing in state law would prohibit it, but the supervisor of elections says he is opposed to creating any new precincts before redistricting in 2010.
The Caliente Resort has around some 300 potential voters who live on site, as well as some 200 employees looking to cast their ballots.
So for today's elections, voters will not be allowed the "freedom" to cast their votes in the buff, but maybe in 2010, clothing could be an option! Now wouldn't that be an historic election?
