Digital Journal to Cover U.S. Election Results Live, Free Syndication Available

We're teaming up with citizen journalists to cover the U.S. election live on Nov.4 at 9 p.m. EST. Join the discussion to debate the candidates and their run to the White House, and mark the beginning of a new era as the U.S. chooses its next President.

Digital Journal -- Many readers are familiar with Digital Journal's live blog coverage of the various presidential debates in the U.S., as well as the Canadian federal leaders debate in Canada. Citizen journalists, bloggers, readers and journalists joined forces to report the events live, including photography, live polls, debates and news coverage.

We're happy to say, we're at it again; on Nov. 4 beginning at 9 p.m. EST, we're going to be covering the U.S. election results live. The coverage will take place at the following link, which will be activated Nov. 4 in the evening: Live Blog: America Votes, Election Results 2008. The link will be inactive until tomorrow, but set your bookmarks now.

Digital Journal will be moderating the coverage, and joining the group of panelists are citizen journalists Sadiq Green, Bob Ewing, Debra Myers, Robert Miller, Paul Wallis and Richard Sweet. We're happy to include a diverse panel of contributors, ranging in political background and geographical location, so the coverage is comprehensive and offers unique perspectives.

The format for our live coverage will be that of a round table discussion, where panelists discuss various questions posed by Digital Journal. As a reader, you will also be able to take part in this conversation by answering live polls and submitting your own commentary and opinion.

The discussion will delve into various aspects of the election, including what each candidate did well and what they could have done better in the race to the White House; what the future of the U.S. looks like under Barack Obama or John McCain; how vice presidential candidates played a factor in the election; how the parties have changed over the years; and and open Q&A session with readers.
