"When you come into a position underestimated..." Sarah Palin started to CKOI duo 'The Masked Avengers', as they successfully pranked Sarah Palin, posing as French President Nicolas Sarkozy after 4 days of the attempts to get through...
Canadians Marc-Antoine Audette and Sebastien Trudel, the duo that make up Montreal radio station CKOI's 'Masked Avengers,' got through to Republican vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin after four days of back-and-forth calling between Palin's staff.
"Oh my God, seriously, it's probably the biggest we've ever done," Audette exclaimed to CTV news.
During the six minute conversation, Audette, posed as Sarkosy in an exaggerated French accent, covered such topics as hunting with Dick Cheney, how gruelling elections are, how she felt about the duo's chances, and whether she would be president one day. "Maybe in eight years..." Palin responded to faux Sarkozy's overture that he "sees her as president one day..."
He also told Palin how much he enjoyed her in the "documentary they made about your life, Hustler's 'Naylin Paylin'" to which Palin responded "Aww, well thank you!"

The duo have pranked a number of celebrities in the past 10 years, including Tiger Woods, Bill Gates, and Sarkozy himself, however this particular exchange is one of their more hilarious successes. Audette did a superb job of exposing Palin's lack of experience my blatantly misnaming the Canadian Prime Minister's name, to which she responded "he's doing a fine job".
Continuing, he asked if she had had the chance to meet his friend, the Prime Minister of Quebec. Audette took it one step further, saying that his wife "was so hot in bed, she even wrote a song for you!" to which Palin exclaimed "oh my god, I didn't know that!"
Here's hoping that's not a frequent refrain in a McCain White House.
No official response or comment had immediately been offered or obtained from Palin's staff. Speaking later with a volunteer with ties to the campaign, the talking point appeared to be that she was "mildly amused", something the BBC also later reported.
The BBC has even declared the duos earlier stunt on Sarkozy as "one of the best moments in radio."
Although it was recorded just this Saturday afternoon, the Palin conversation is slated to air on the eve of the U.S. election.
However it was likely just too good to keep under ones chapeaux, as I received as phone call and a link from people involved 8 minutes after it was posted.
