A McCain rally was held in Defiance, Ohio earlier today. The campaign was unable to fill it with enough people, so they brought in kids from neighboring schools to attend the rally.
Only five more days left and both the parties should get enough crowds to attend their rallies without a problem. But the McCain campaign seems to have a tougher time at getting a response.
A local school district official confirmed to MSNBC that school kids were brought in to attend the McCain rally. The event recorded 6,000 people according to a fire marshal, but among them there were 4,000 kids from neighboring schools in Defiance, Ohio.
According to the official, the entire 2,500 students from the Defiance School District were in attendance. In addition, students from three other schools were brought in to attend the rally. One of three schools sent 14 buses for the rally.
McCain had another bad moment (as shown in the video) when he called out his new booster “Joe the Plumber” but he was not in the crowd. Unfortunately, Joe was scheduled to appear at the next McCain rally.
