According to Ed Rollins, GOP strategist and CNN contributor, Alaska Governor Sarah Palin could be the most popular person within the GOP after Election Day.
CNN contributor and GOP strategist Ed Rollins has weighed in on the days prelude to Election Day on November 4 in regards to the 2008 United States Presidential Elections between GOP nominee Senator John McCain of Arizona and Democratic nominee Senator Barack Obama of Illinois.
While speaking with John Roberts of CNN’s “American Morning,” Rollins explained that McCain faces a difficult battle against Obama. He explains that the Democratic Party made a better infrastructure of getting people to vote. Rollins further weighs in on the possible Democratic victory in Congress on Election Day as well.
But, Rollins did a good deal of weighing in on McCain’s running mate, Alaska Governor Sarah Palin. He believes that after Election Day is over, Palin will be the most popular Republican.
In short, Rollins believes that Palin will become more powerful within the GOP. When asked if Palin could be the future of the GOP, Rollins said that she will be the most popular member of the GOP in this country after Election Day. In short, Rollins did not say if Palin would be would not be the future of the GOP.
For an interesting finish, Rollins said that the popularity would not help Palin if she plans to run in 2012.
So far, Rollins believes that Palin will become very popular after Election Day. When asked, Rollins did not say whether or not Palin would become the future of the GOP.
