Forgetful Dog Lover Finds Lost Pet

By M Dee Dubroff     Oct 27, 2008 in Lifestyle
It was a happy ending for an older Chinese man who was reunited with his beloved dog after a month’s separation due to the fact that he left the animal in his car and forgot where he parked it. Read all about this amazing reunion.
According to news sources, Wang Zujun, aged 80, left the car in a garage to be repaired but then could not remember the name or address. The garage owner left it parked outside a shopping center after Wang failed to show up and claim his car. He told the press:
“I couldn't take care of it forever, and it took up a lot of space at my shop.”
Meanwhile, Wang’s poor little dog was left in the back seat. Local traders kept the dog alive by feeding it scraps of food through a gap in the window of the vehicle. Eventually, as the smell from the parked vehicle got worse, they smashed the lock to try to free the trapped animal. But the frightened dog would not budge and so the rescuers retrieved documents from the car, which gave them Wang’s name and address.
Wang had been desperate to find his lost pooch and had been scouring the city for the car, but he was looking in the wrong direction and ha d no one to help him find his way. He told the press:
“Each morning, I would go out and look. My dogs are my only companions.”
When Wang was finally led to his car, the dog started barking wildly and, at the sound of his master's voice, jumped from the vehicle into his arms.
All’s well that ends well for both pooch and owner.
