A new poll launched has given results that do not look good for the prospects of many looking to be re-elected into the United States Congress.
So far, a new
poll by CNN/Research Opinion Corp. has been released. However this poll has been directly aimed at the performance of the United States Congress. Remember this, as Election Day on November 4 draws closer, we can expect polls to be launched just about every single day.
Another tidbit to remember, results from one poll will be different from another poll. According to this new poll launched by CNN/Opinion Research Corporation, almost sixty percent of registered voters feel that most of the members do not deserved to get elected back into the United States Congress. Almost forty percent feel that most should be reelected into office.
So far, there is a twenty percent difference between those that feel most should be kicked out and those that feel most should be reelected.
In short, the voters say that these “bums” should be kicked out of office. But who should be given the boot?
According to CNN Polling Director Keating Holland, most of the voters feel that the Republicans more than the Democrats should be kicked out of Congress. In short, most of the anger and frustration are aimed at the GOP.
Holland said that 2008 is not a good year for the GOP. He gives the possibility that anger directed towards current US President George W. Bush is being redirected at the GOP.
As the GOP is bracing for losses, does it mean they will lose? The same percentage of people that feel most should be kicked out of Congress feel that their own members should be re-elected.
In short, there is a major paradox present. While the anger is directed towards the GOP, it does not necessarily mean that many members of the GOP will be voted out of office.
On one hand most of the registered voters that participated in the poll feel that most members of Congress should be voted out. Yet, the same percentage feels that their members of Congress should be re-elected.
In a sense, this is a political stalemate in regards to who should be elected, reelected, voted out.
But remember, this is just one of many polls that will be released from now and until Election Day. Results can and will possibly change with the new poll released.
