H20ooohh Indoor Family Waterpark Is Bringing Summer To Wintry Poconos

By KJ Mullins     Oct 21, 2008 in Travel
It may get cold and snowy in Pennsylvania but come Halloween those in Lake Harmony's H20ooohh Indoor Family Waterpark will be able to beach it inside while Jack Frost is hanging around.
A new indoor water park is opening at the Split Rock Resort and Golf Club. H20ooohh Indoor Family Waterpark cost $19 million to build. It will feature hot tubs, three large slides, a wave pool, a tree house and a FlowRider. There is even a water area set aside just for the diaper set. A food court and tiki bar complete the family themed park.
To enjoy a summery break in the middle of winter the park will set you back $40 for general admission and $35 for the kiddies (those under 42 inches). Children under the age of two are free. If you wait until after 4 p.m. the prices are reduced by $8. Towels are not provided.
The park will be closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
There will also be packages for the resort that include lodging and waterpark admission. The cost will begin at $100.50 midweek and $133 on the weekends. That is the lowest costs and there is a two-night minimum stay.
