Peter Sellers's movie, "The Mouse That Roared," concerned a tiny country that declared war against the United States. In a parallel situation, a tiny mouse, meant for a viper’s lunch, killed the snake instead! Read on for more on …mighty mouse!
According to news sources, fire fighters in Taiwan, captured a 35 cm (a little more than 12 inches) viper and placed it in a cage. They then found a mouse and offered it to the viper for lunch, but were stunned to see how aggressive the tiny mouse became once it saw the snake in the grass, so to speak.

A spokesman said:

“We offered the mouse for lunch, but instead it attacked the snake continuously, biting and scratching it.”

After a vicious thirty-minute battle, David slew Goliath; the snake was dead and the mouse was left with hardly a scratch! The chief fireman suggested that perhaps the snake was a novice predator.

Like hari kiri and some of life’s other diversions, some things need to be done right the first time.

Yea, mighty mouse, and… the memory of Peter Sellers too!
