Richard Blaylock, 76, is a convicted burglar in Britain who was just released from prison says that his life of crime is over because of modern technology like surveillance cameras and DNA testing. Blaylock has spent more than half of his life in prison.
Durham, England - With the advances of modern technology like DNA testing and high-quality surveillance equipment, criminals are having a harder time committing their crimes. Blaylock, who has 69 convictions and has done time in 14 different prisons, says that he's retiring, and that

"I'll never get into trouble again."

The elderly man who is a great-grandfather, began his life as a criminal in 1943. His release last week came after a three-month sentence for having been caught with burglary tools.

Hoping that his experiences will help aspiring criminals to think twice, he said,
"I would tell any youngsters thinking of going into a life of crime that they shouldn't. I've wasted my life in prison and I never made any money out of crime."
