The Dalai Lama has been hospitalized in New Delhi just days after he was cleared by doctors to travel. He was admitted for "further consultations with doctors."
It is unclear when the
Tibetan spiritual leader was admitted to the hospital. He had been ill last month requiring cancellation of several planned trips. The diagnosis at that time was exhaustion.
The 73-year-old Dalai Lama has been resting since his last hospital stay. On Tuesday he had been examined by doctors just days ago gaining medical clearance to travel again.
