Fox and Friends discussed Thursday’s vice presidential debate and declared Gov. Sarah Palin the big winner because she had a “bigger flag pin” than Sen. Joe Biden.
Steve Doocy, one of the hosts of the show “Fox and Friends” discussed the VP debates and praised Sarah Palin’s performance. He and his co-hosts Gretchen Carlson and Brian Kilmeade declared Palin the winner.

Doocy gave the following reason for calling her the hands-down winner: He compared the size of the flag pins both Biden and Palin were wearing, and said Palin’s was “about three times the size of his."

This was the conversation Doocy and Carlson had:

DOOCY: There is a clear winner this morning and it is completely subjective. Take a look. We’ve got a side by side comparison. Examine the flag pins. Joe Biden had a flag pin. Sarah Palin had a flag pin. As you can see, hers is screen right. His is screen left. Hers is about three times the size of his. So I would say flag-pin wise, she is a hands-down winner.

CARLSON: She has a few more jewels on hers, too.

DOOCY: Yes, she does.

If the flag pin size is the best way to analyze the winner of the debates, it's important to note Obama would be considered the winner of the first presidential debate, as he wore a pin and McCain didn't.
