Rep. Barney Frank, who has already been taking heat for his personal and financial involvement in the Fannie Mae collapse, made the ultimate mistake of appearing on Bill O'Reilly. This one's pure heat, and already has 316,000 hits on YouTube in 24 hours.
Check out the embedded video. It has to be seen to be believed.
But first put on your seat belt.
Rep. Barney Frank (D-MA), who has been
taking heat over his long-term personal and financial involvement with Fannie Mae that has even been reported on by the
Boston Globe (which covers negative stories on liberal Bay State politicians about as often as Halley's comet passes our view), caught hell from Bill O'Reilly on FOX over it.
The response on YouTube has been phenomenal, with over 316,000 hits since yesterday despite being overshadowed by the Palin-Biden debate.
Perhaps that stunning viewership has much to do with Rep. Frank getting it back in the same way many Americans would have liked to have dished it out to him and everyone else in Congress like he and Rep. Chris Dodd (D-CT), whose fingerprints are all over the scandal.
Love him or hate him, you have to give O'Reilly points for his passion on the issue. You'd never see any liberal Democrat get that kind of treatment on
Softball, or anywhere else in the MSM for that matter.
In this case, it would appear Mr. O'Reilly was our Fannie Mae/Freddie Mac stand-in for
Howard Beale.
Good for him. I'm mad as hell, too.
