news sources, a love motel for amorous dogs has opened in Sao Paolo, the richest and largest city in Brazil. The idea was the brain-child of Robson Marinho, a pet store owner who built an air conditioned room on the second floor of his shop that read: “Pet Love Motel.”
Now referred to as the posh Barra Funda, the motel offers air-conditioned rooms for dogs of pet owners who are concerned with their animals’ needs.
The rooms at the Pet Love Motel are decorated with satin sheets, ceiling heart-shaped mirrors and special dimmer for lights. Romantic music is piped into the room and cushions abound. Thick curtains adorn the windows for shy animals seeking privacy when it comes to such matters.
Sao Paolo’s metropolitan area is among the largest in the world and the city is known for both its global influence in commerce and finance as well as arts and entertainment. Now, however, it will be known for something else, namely the site of the world’s first love motel for dogs. Says owner, Marinho of his creation:
"I am absolutely certain this is the first love motel for dogs in the world"
The owner has to know what kind of DVD will excite his or her dog. We also have a wedding agency that matches up dogs and if the female dog doesn’t get pregnant, we offer artificial insemination services".
