“Soldiers are murderers” was spray painted on an Army Reserves sergeant’s jeep at Dallas Baptist University yesterday. The vandal has not yet been identified.
The jeep was parked on the university parking lot for a few hours in the early morning darkness. When Viktow Whitlow returned to his jeep he found the vandal’s message. Dallas police took fingerprints from the scene but no one has been arrested. Damage is estimated at $7,000.
Whitlow, who served two terms of duty in Bagdad, Iraq in a in a medical treatment facility, said:
"It's disheartening to be honest with you," he said. "It's shocking that somebody would write something like that. It just makes me speechless. . . "I actually worked in a medical treatment facility and we actually saved lives instead of taking them."
