If one were to listen to any American Democrat leader, one would think that the USA was on the road to perdition and the only saving grace would be to socialize everything there is to control. Such is the way of Marxism. Wrong path. Wrong decision.
This isn't a game as the second video reveals but it is a game the Democrats like to play. And, as usual, the American people or at least the ones paying attention have seen through the nonsense. America will survive this if we don't allow yet another government agency be borne from an agency that was designed to fail.
President Carter's CRA of 1977 was built on the road of good intentions but so is hell. President Clinton's insidious silliness in 1992 and placed into action in 1994, another building on the road of good intentions that leads to hell in the long run, further exemplified the fallacy of Identity Politics and Affirmative Action.
As various members of Congress that recognized the early warning signals tried to bring the portentous revelations of the financial boondoggle, Democrat party leadership exclaimed any number of political correct buzz words and any and all attempts to head off the current "crisis" were safely averted...to the nations' peril.
What will it take America? Another depression? Do we want or need an American Depression Part II? We are indeed heading in that direction if we allow the government to grow exponentially. History bears this out: every time government gets involved either to "save the planet" or to step in and "bail financial institutions out", the situation takes a turn for the worse.
I say to fight this bail out and let the markets play themselves out. The very ones that are calling President Bush out for lack of "oversight" are the ones that were in charge of that "oversight" for years.
Enough is enough. We don't need another government agency to suck down tax dollars. We need responsible government and that means that the government needs to butt out.
