RightPundits.com, states that Clinton is using “brilliant strategy and worthy of the Clinton reputation” by taking the high road and at the same time damming Obama with “faint praise.”
He praised John McCain enthusiastically. He credited John McCain with a life time of service to the country and a man who deserves the respect of the entire nation. He pointed out how helpful Senator John McCain had been during his Presidency. He certainly was able to work with members of both parties.
Oh, and Obama is a fine fellow, of course.
Meanwhile, Clinton insiders are coming out in droves announcing their support of John McCain for the Presidency. They swear that they are doing this independently and that they have not discussed their support of McCain with the Clintons. I believe them. Don’t you?
According to the
New York Times, Clinton sat down with a group of journalists yesterday and he “waxed folksy on Sarah Palin.”
I get why she’s hot out there — why she’s doing well. You know, people look at her and they say — all those kids. Something happens in everybody’s family.”
Clinton also said that Todd Palin was “my kind of guy.”
