Nashville's gas stations are reeling from the high costs. At least 85 per cent of stations in the Nashville area were out of gas.
This morning regular unleaded gas was selling for $4.084 a gallon in Nashville, if you could find it according to AAA.

Hurricane Ike is to blame for the shortage of fuel in Nashville. Many of the gas stations in the western Tennessee city come from Texas and Louisiana. Fourteen of those refineries are still not back up and running after last weeks storm. They supply 20 per cent of the United States with gasoline.

Nashville should be back at full service next week when the state is scheduled to receive 1.42 million barrels of gasoline. A typical week for the state is 1.44 million barrels.
