Seven months ago 19-year-old college student, Brianna Denison was found murdered in Reno, Nevada while visiting friends at the University of Nevada, Reno. Three weeks after being abducted her body was found with the calling card of a serial rapist.
Who is he?
The 'calling card' left with Denison was a pair of blank thong panties. Those panties are connecting the dots to other victims of a serial rapist. He takes the panties his victim is wearing leaving the previous victim's in their place.
There's a mystery though with the panties left with Denison, who owned them? DNA found on the 'calling card' connects another victim but they did not own the black thong panties, size small, with a Pink Panther cartoon and heart design.
These connections lead police to believe the killer is a serial rapist who has attacked several women in the area. Because of the timing and locations of the attacks police think the rapist lives or works in the area.
Some of the earlier attacks left behind women who have described their attacker. The assailant is described as a white male, 28 to 40 years old, square chin, brown hair, about 5-foot-6, strong but not muscular, a small pot belly and short beard. He drove a small truck with an extended cab. One of the victims said there was a baby shoe in the front passenger floorboard.
Now police are asking for the public's help. Who is the owner of the black thongs? That victim could help police put away a killer and stop a reign of terror in Reno.
