Former President Bill Clinton will soon begin campaigning for Barack Obama helping the Illinois Senator in his quest for the presidency against Republican nominee John McCain of Arizona.
Former President Bill Clinton will begin campaigning for Barack Obama as soon as he is done with his work on the Clinton Global Initiative. Senator Obama was in town because of the terrorist attack on New York City that occurred on September 11, 2001. The two men had lunch at the former president's office in Harlem today.
Clinton was upbeat and optimistic about Obama's chances against McCain in the Fall 2008 campaign. TheHill.com website reports that Clinton believes that Obama will defeat McCain ''pretty handily.''
The YouTube video says that Clinton will campaign for Obama in Florida on September 29. Lee Cowan of NBC News did the audio report on the video.
