The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) and Metro Ontario Inc. are warning the public not to consume the sandwiches and party trays because these products may be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes.
The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) and Metro Ontario Inc. are warning the public not to consume the sandwiches and party trays described here because these products may be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes.

The following products with PKGD on dates up to and including "08.SE.4" (September 4, 2008) are affected by this alert.

These products have been distributed in Ontario through selected A & P, Dominion, The Barn, Ultra, and Loeb stores.

This recall is being initiated as these products contain one of the cheese products recalled by Ivanhoe Cheese Inc., Madoc, ON. There have been no reported illnesses associated with the consumption of these products.

Metro Ontario Inc., Toronto, ON is voluntarily recalling the affected products from the marketplace. The CFIA is monitoring the effectiveness of the recall.
