Some of the rumours may have a foundation about Sarah Palin's daughter. The Republican vice presidential candidate has just announced that her seventeen year old daughter is indeed pregnant but she is the mother of four month old Trig.
Bristol Palin is five months pregnant. She is keeping the baby and marrying the father.
Yahoo reports:
"We have been blessed with five wonderful children who we love with all our heart and mean everything to us," the Palins' statement said.
"Our beautiful daughter Bristol came to us with news that as parents we knew would make her grow up faster than we had ever planned. As Bristol faces the responsibilities of adulthood, she knows she has our unconditional love and support," the Palins said.
The Palin's are asking the media to respect the young couple's privacy on the matter.
McCain is reported to have known about Bristol Palin last week.
