Could Queen Elizabeth be worried her grandson will be a bum? Prince William will be finishing his military attachments next year. When he finishes what will his next role be until he sits on the throne, if he does indeed gets the crown?
According to a report in the
Daily Mail the Queen is concerned that William is be twiddling his thumbs when his military career comes to a close next year. The paper is saying that she's told his father, Prince Charles to devise a charity role for his son.
If the report is correct the Palace will be making an "umbrella" charity for the eldest son of Charles and Diana.
William is already a patron of eight charities including one that was once held by his mother, Centrepoint.
A Buckingham Palace spokesperson said: ‘The Prince is already involved as patron or president of a number of charities and that will continue and develop further as required, although the number of charitable links won’t increase substantially.’
Because of being the second in line for the throne William isn't able to hold down a regular 9 to 5 job like the rest of his peers.
