Google’s mobile operating system Android appears to be coming soon via HTC’s Dream phone via T-Mobile brand. The new phone shows a variety of features as seen in the Apple's iPhone 3G.
Previously videos of the Dream phone were shown to the public but were too blurry except for the one added here. The video shows BBC's Darren Waters interviewing
Andy Rubin, current Director of Mobile Operations at Google about this new Android phone.
The
phone has a 3G touch screen prototype, and it can be browsed just like the iPhone but also has a track ball at the bottom, so one can move the screen without touching the screen. Andy demonstrates the web browser and applications capabilities of the Dream with Street View as an example. He also shows a demo of the popular game “Quake”.
Now there are more pictures of the same phone shown here. The photos were obtained from a
Chinese forum.

Google also has
released a new Android SDK version for developers so that they can start building applications for Dream and other Android phones that will come into market soon. Google will also have a new App store for the developers to list their applications for Android phones.
The phone looks great, has a built in keyboard, which many iPhone owners miss and want in their phones. Now even small companies can fight the big Apple with Android Mobile Operating System.
