Dave Matthews credited him for arranging some of the songs. But most would know him for his saxophone solos in such hits as "What Would You Say?" and many songs from "Under The Table and Dreaming".
LeRoi Moore, saxophonist for the Dave Matthews Band, is dead at the age of 46. Moore suffered from complications following an accident on his farm in Charlottesville, VA a few months ago.
Moore had gotten into an ATV accident that hospitalized him on June 17. He was home for a few weeks doing physical rehabilitation at his Los Angeles residence. But complications arose and he was hospitalized at Hollywood Presbyterian in July.
At press time, the complications that occurred are not known.

Moore recorded several albums with the Dave Matthews band and was a fixture on their tours. He had many solo spots on songs such as "What Would You Say", "Ants Marching", and the Grammy-winning "So Much To Say".

Wow. His sound will truly be missed. Probably one of the mos popular band saxophonists since Clarence Clemmons.
