At a hospital in Israel a pregnant woman was discovered to have internal bleeding and the fetus was said to have no life signs. They extracted the fetus, pronounced the baby dead and placed her in a cooler. Five hours later the baby came back to life.
Doctors believe the cooler brought the baby back to life after the mother, who was Five months pregnant went to the hospital for testing and it was discovered that she had internal bleeding and further tests showed the fetus showed no signs of life.
JPost reports that the mother had to undergo an abortion to remove the baby, which weighed 610 grams and after being extracted was found to have no pulse.
They pronounced the baby girl dead and placed her in a cooler.
Five hours later the father of the baby went to take the baby to prepare her for burial and when they removed the child from the cooler, she started breathing.
The baby is in intensive care while doctors try to keep her alive.
