John McCain said that he is working non-stop for days in a row while campaigning for president. He says he needs more sleep to feel sharp.
McCain spoke to reporters aboard his campaign plane flying from Arkansas to Las Vegas and said he is planning to campaign as usual next week while Obama is on vacation in Hawaii and many Americans are watching the Olympic Games.

Until that time he plans to focus more on getting as much proper sleep as possible.

He told the reporters:
If I put in three or four 18-hour, 20-hour days in a row, I'm not sharp. It's just a fact…I'm more sharp if I get a little rest.

McCain said he likes to get up after 7:30 or 8:00 a.m. compared to his getting up early at 5:30 a.m. for the political campaign.

He told reporters: "It seems to help me to get up a little later in the morning…Sorry to bother with that intimate detail."

The Jed Report article said the American presidency is a 24/7 job and wonders how he will cope with the workload. He already doesn’t work weekends, according to Politico. A Fox employee is amazed how McCain does very little campaigning.

Jed Report said in the article:
It's just August, and he is already complaining about the grueling pace of the campaign… Meanwhile, lots of American families are every bit as tired as he is, but without $100 million in the bank.

His followers and MSM are trying their best to make him elected, I hope he shows some zest up until the elections are over. After that he can take more rest (a record 452 days in less than 8 years of Presidency) like Bush did in his “Crawford” home.
