Residents complained for over 2 years about Kerry Norris and her boyfriend's all night sex sessions. The headboard banged from dusk til dawn. Men were missing work, children were wetting beds. "Enough is enough" they cried. We'll let the courts decide.
Kerry Norris has resided in the one bedroom apartment for 13 years. Seems the trouble started 2 years ago when she and Adam began their courtship. Kerry, a 29 year old unemployed, single mom says she and her boyfriend Adam Hinton have a "normal sex life".
Not so claim her neighbors. Having registered official complaints for well over 2 years against the couple for their all night vocal sex sessions, they finally got their day in court.
According to those who had the unfortunate luck of sharing common walls with the boisterous couple, Kerry and Adam would be "doing it" from dusk til dawn. The headboard would bang on the walls, the verbal obscenities heard echoing into the night. Many complained that they were so exhausted from lack of sleep due to the ruckus they were unable to go to work.
Mothers were forced to move their children to the apartment living rooms in an attempt to shield them from the verbal tirade that carried through the apartment walls.
One mother of a 4 year old girl claimed her daughter had become a chronic bed wetter and now suffers nightmares because of the sounds she had heard.
According to the mom of 3, the girl had asked her: "Mummy what does f**k me, f**k me mean?"
Kerry also had no sense of shame, reportedly regularly sunbathing in the nude in full view of area workmen.
Neighbors also stated they were disturbed by loud music, shouting and swearing throughout the day and night, as well as vacuuming in the early hours of the morning.
"Enough is enough!" the residents cried when standing before the judge.
The Brighton and Hove City Council finally took action against Ms. Norris. The judge found her guilty of breaching a noise abatement order filed previously, and fined her $300.00 and ordered her to pay $150.00 in court costs. She was also ordered to pay a $22.00 "victim surcharge".
One has to wonder - was the early morning vacuuming part of the sex play, or were they just cleaning up after themselves?
