McCain made an appearance at the Sturgis biker rally while on the campaign trail. During the festivities he announced that Cindy should participate in the Bikini Beauty Pageant at the Buffalo Chip, which usually finales with topless women.
The Bikini Beauty Pageant at the Buffalo Chip is a yearly tradition at Sturgis and brings out the wild in biker babes and spectators alike. The pageant has a reputation of ending with ladies even more scantily clad than a bikini would allow, namely it has a reputation of being end topless and sometimes bottomless.
John McCain made an appearance at the 62 year old rally and mingled with the folks. During a speech he suggested Cindy should participate in the pageant and become the first "first Lady," and " Miss Buffalo Chip" in America. Some wonder if he knew he was suggesting she become the first "topless" first lady pageant winner as well. Cindy seemed amused at the suggestion and laughed in front of the crowd. She was dressed in a denim shirt and pants, looking very comfortable rather than "first lady-like."
The event has been described as raunchy and suggestive, it seems bananas are involved...
