The leaked recorded radio transmission from the police reveals that the Greyhound bus killer in Canada might have hacked off pieces of the victim’s body and eaten them.
The bizarre killing reported in the Digital Journal articles
here and
here by KJ, is getting even more gruesome.
In one of the tapes of radio transmission, a Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) officer refers to the attacker as “Badger” and said that he is armed with a knife and scissors and defiling the body in the bus.
One of the conversations said the following: "Badger's at the back of the bus, hacking off pieces and eating it."
The tapes were posted in LiveLeak but the RCMP didn’t give them permission to broadcast it. The victim and the others were watching the Zorro movie inside the bus at that time.
The “Badger”, referring to Vince Weiguang Li, 40, faces second-degree murder for beheading 22-year-old Tim McClean.
Li’s employer is shocked to learn that his model employee has turned to this grizzly murderer. Vincent Augert, an independent contractor who distributes newspapers in Edmonton, said Li is one of his most reliable carriers.
He told
AP:
He was very punctual and always cleanly dressed…He was a very nice, polite guy. We would've had no reason to let him go before all this happened.
The grieving McLean’s family is also puzzled by the gruesome murder. They told AP about Tim: "Tim spent his life traveling and meeting new people and always saw the good in everyone. He had the most infectious giggle. You could hear him laughing a mile away."
Li was brought to the courtroom Friday in Portage la Prairie but without a lawyer, who will be assigned to him shortly. They may do a psychiatric evaluation after Li consults with his lawyer. According to RCMP, Li has no known criminal record.
