Prince William is set to wrap up his military secondment this year that are in preparation for his role of King. The Prince is set to learn defense ministry work.
The last in a series of duties will be working with the head of Britain's armed forces in the defense ministry. He will conduct non-operational visits to special visits during this phase of his training.
The prince has already finished attachments with the Royal Air Force and the Royal Navy. He is a second lieutenant in the Blues and Royals regiment of the British Army.
"Prince William is to undertake a final series of military secondments in the autumn,'' said a statement from Clarence House, his father Prince Charles' official London residence, which handles his affairs.
"This will complete his year of familiarisation with the capability, organisation, equipment and ethos of Britain's armed forces.''
William is known as Cornet William Wales in the army.
All of this is to get him ready and prepared to lead the monarchy. It has been speculated that Prince William will be the next king, bypassing his father in the role. His grandmother Queen Elizabeth has already had him represent her on a number of occasions.
