A gunman in Knoxville, Tennessee opened fire inside Tennessee Valley Unitarian Universalist Church this morning, sending seven people to the hospital.
There are no reports of deaths at this time. Some of the victims were admitted to hospital with head wounds.

The police have the gunman in custody.

According to church member Steve Drevick the gunman fired a shotgun three times after entering Tennessee Valley Unitarian Universalist Church during the Sunday services.

Drevick was not in church during the shooting but was called in to help with the wounded and gave a statement to reporters.

Drevick said that no one knew that gunman at the church. The gunman was tackled after the initial three shots were fired. He had more ammunition on him.

There were about 200 people at the church at the time of the shooting. A youth performance was being staged at the time by 25 children.
