'Distasteful' Recruitment Tactics of Calgary, AB White Supremist Group

Possibly the most disturbing method of recruiting new members to a White Supremacy group may tarnish the reputation of Calgary, Alberta.
In a stunning example of "free speech", a white supremacy group hopes that offering compensation for rental deposit(s) in Calgary will attract new membership to their group.

Calgary Mayor Dave Bronconnier responded that these actions were "distasteful" and, further, showed that the group had poor support in his city. His concern is warranted given that StatsCan reported hate crimes at three times the national average in Calgary in 2006

As reported by the CBC, the advertisment was found on an online forum:

"The [name redacted to avoid implicit support of this group] is always seeking new brothers and sisters, if you are interested in relocating to our Calgary area, we will pay the damage deposit for your residence. [...] We believe that through fortifying our current locations with more White Nationlists [sic] we can spread the world more efficiently and than in the future branch out further throughout Canada."

However, the Mayor's distaste is not universal. Another poster at the same forum said, ""This announcement pleases me. ...Whether it's helping them find a place to stay or find a job, all perfectly legal." The poster's interpretation of legality is based on the notion that this group does not explicitly promote hatred of any specific group; rather, it promotes supremacy of one "race" over all others.

Thankfully, it's unlikely there will be a stampede of interested persons to the Calgary area.

Hmm, a resurgence of the nastiest of white supremacists in Stephen Harper's Alberta.
Never mind. Look! George Bush just said something dumb again. Haw haw.

Still there will be many fools taking that offer. Some religions believe in multiple births, wonder whether they will hate themselves if they are born with a different color next time.

Yep. Mind you Harper won't notice ... he's too busy being romanced by Dubya. Don't they make a happy couple *spit*.
