A coroner in Washington state is trying to determine if a body found in March 2007, missing its hands, feet and right arm, is linked to the feet that have washed ashore in British Columbia. The body was found on Orcas Island by hikers.
Vancouver - Thursday, Randall Gaylord, the coroner for San Juan County contacted the authorities on British Columbia. Gaylord wants to determine if any of the feet that have washed ashore in British Columbia could belong to the man's body that was discovered last year in the San Juan Islands. The body still remains unidentified.

Constable Annie Linteau of the RCMP said of the feet that had washed ashore, appear to have been "naturally disarticulated" after death.

One foot that has been found belongs to a still missing man. The missing man's family said that prior to his disappearance, he'd been depressed.
