The 60th Primetime Emmy Award Nominations were announced on Thursday. See if your favorite shows, actors and actresses have made the cut.
The 60th Primetime Emmy Awards nominations were announced this Thursday in Los Angeles.

Shows that were nominated included in the Outstanding Drama series category were: Damages, Mad Men, Boston Legal, Dexter, House and Lost.

Who made it in the Lead Actor category? James Spader as Alan Shore in Boston Legal, and Hugh Laurie as Dr Gregory House in House.

The nominees for Outstanding comedy series are HBO's "Curb Your Enthusiasm" and "Entourage"; NBC's "The Office" and "30 Rock;" and CBS' "Two and a Half Men."

With tough competition, nominees for Outstanding Reality- Competition program included:
The Amazing Race, American Idol, Dancing with the stars, Project Runway and Top Chef.

Top actors, Steve Carell, Alec Baldwin and Charlie Sheen, bagged nominations for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series for their shows, The Office, 30 Rock and Two and a Half Men respectively.

Outstanding Lead Actress nominations included Julia Louis Dreyfus, Tina Fey and America Ferrera for the shows The New Adventures of the Old Christine, 30 Rock and Ugly Betty respectively with Vanessa Williams nominated as best supporting actress for Ugly Betty as well.

Also nominated were Ryan Seacrest for Outstanding Host on a Reality Competion along with Heidi Klum and Tom Bergeron for American Idol, Project Runway and Dancing with the Stars respectively.

Yet again HBO led with 85 nominations and ABC came in second with 76 nominations folled by CBS with 51, NBC with 50, Fox Bros with 28, Showtime with 21 and AMC with 20.Of the 51 nominees for comedy and drama programs, and lead and supporting performers, 21 were not among last year's nominees, a 40 percent change.

The 60th annual Primetime Emmy Awards will be presented September 21 at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles, with winners in 29 categories announced. Winners in 64 categories will be presented at the 60th Creative Arts Emmy Awards Sept. 13 at the same venue.

    Yea they deserve it!! i am a HUGE fan of the show... its jut brilliant... i hope Charlie Sheen wins!!! :D
