A teenager from Netherlands set a new world record by solving the Rubik’s Cube in just 7.08 seconds, beating the previous record by nearly two seconds.
Erik Akkersdijk, 18, solved the Rubik’s Cube with a record time of 7.08 at the Czech Open during the weekend for “speedcubing” enthusiasts.

Akkersdijk also held one of the previous world record in 2007, when he solved the Rubik’s Cube in 9.77 seconds (shown in the video). Later that record was beaten by Edouard Chambon with a time of 9.18 seconds at the Murcia Open in 2008. Erik at the Czech Open beat the record of Yu Nakajima from Japan, who solved the Rubik’s Cube in 8.72 seconds at the Kashiwa Open 2008.

Australia’s top Rubik’s Cube solver Jasmine Lee told News.com that this record is very impressive and it is a large margin for others to break it.

At the Czech Open, each Rubik’s Cube is rotated by the officials into a random configuration and given to the contestants to solve it.

Only 13 people have ever solved the Cube in less than 10 seconds. All world records have been set the last two years, according to News.com.

Here is one solution page you can try. There is a method to solve this without it will take forever to solve. But try this above method, I am sure you can solve it.
