Every woman dreams of having an unforgettable wedding. This lucky lady had her husband to be, literally drop down from the heavens...Ladies, jealous some?
This is the story of Sishir Mishra, a 32 year old officer in the Indian Air Force, who has also been a skydiving instructor and holds a place in various record books, including, the Limca Book Of World Records.

One such record was in 2004, in the US, where he jumped from over 15000 ft along with others holding the Indian flag until they reached parachute level.

Now after 4 more years, on his wedding day, Sishir skydives from 7000 ft into the wedding venue, where his bride-to-be, Sweta Prusty, is waiting for him. On being asked for comment on his feat, Sishir replies dismissively, “I have been jumping from the sky for the last 12 years. It has never scared me. Those who were watching me falling from the sky must be nervous. But for me it is just another day.”

Nervous is an understatement for his bride, Sweta, who waited with bated breath hoping her husband would make a safe landing. “I was a little sceptical about the whole event,” said his bride. “However, I had full faith in him, aware of his vast experience in skydiving.”

Sishir dived with three others, wing commander (retired) Sanjay Thapar, Sagar Kumar and Surya Prakash, to the pre-planned spot.

The event was sponsored by Sky Airways, who, on being approached by Sishir, and hearing about his vast experience and numerous feats as wells as records in flying events, both domestic and international, gave the go ahead to sponsor and support the wedding event.

Sishir is now considering to write to Limca, to win yet another place in the world record book for the first of its kind recorded attempt in the most innovative wedding of our time.

For the newly-wed couple, it would sure be a day to remember for the rest of their lives.
