Still Waiting For Heroes Season 3? Catch 'Heroes: Going Postal' Online

By Can Tran     Jul 13, 2008 in Entertainment
On July 14, a web exclusive series for Heroes known as “Heroes: Going Postal” will be available to watch on the Heroes website.
It is only a matter of but a few months away that fans of the hit-TV show on NBC “Heroes” will get to see the third season. There has been much anticipation in regards to the third volume of Heroes called “Villains.” The second season of Heroes unfortunately had to end early due to the Writer’s Guild Strike that had taken place around January 2008.
Still, it was not the end of the world. For those that have been waiting to see season three were still able to read the weekly graphic novels on the Heroes website every Tuesday. I myself have been keeping up with the graphic novels. Perhaps many of the graphic novel characters will be making appearances when Season 3 comes.
Starting on Monday, July 14, while we wait for the third season to premiere in September, we can catch a new web-exclusive series called “Heroes: Going Postal.” This seems to be a bit of a side-story that revolves around one of the characters that could possibly end up appearing in season 3. But, that is pure speculation within itself.
However, there have been talks of a web-exclusive series for the last several months. But, this series revolves around a character named Echo De Mille, a mailman. Echo will be portrayed by actor Kiki Ellsworth. His power would be a sonic scream. Think Banshee of X-Men.
Taking a look at the trailer, it should be rather interesting. Apparently, Echo might end up being incarcerated in Level 5 in the near future. Judging by the trailer, it would seem that the web-exclusive series looks to be well made.
However, the broadcasting of the web series does bring up a question:
What happened to the anticipated web-exclusive series in which the newly created hero or heroine will be broadcast?
For several months, there has been a contest sponsored and presented by Sprint called “Create Your Hero.” There was supposed to be a new online live action series that will feature either Santiago or Audrey.
Still, the online exclusive Heroes: Going Postal series should appease fans for the time being before season three comes out.
