The old adage about a picture being worth a thousand words still holds true. A rather massive swarm of Starlings was videotaped performing their shape shifting patterns and I found it stunning.
The video really needs no further words to go with, except (of course) I've seen Starling flocks doing similar stunts. But I've never seen such a large flock performing together.
