Libertarian presidential candidate Bob Barr of Georgia has said that he is not the same as Independent candidate Ralph Nader.
For those that have really been keeping track of the United States Presidential elections, it is already established that Senator Barack Obama of Illinois is the presumed Democratic nominee and that Senator John McCain of Arizona is the presumed GOP nominee. But, there are two other notable candidates in the race as well. However, neither of the two other candidates has been receiving equal media attention.

Back in March, Ralph Nader, the consumer advocate, had announced going on a presidential run again. Libertarian Bob Barr is also running for the United States Presidency. It is speculated that Barr could be a spoiler to McCain because of the GOP’s current state. Barr himself used to be a Republican. Barr was a Republican Representative in the US House.

In the past, Barr was very loyal to the GOP. Well, that was the past. This is now. Now, Barr is running as a Libertarian candidate. According to Barr, the GOP left him hanging.

However, Barr could be compared to Nader back in 2000. Nader has been labeled as an election spoiler by many Democrats in the past. Back in 2000, Nader was branded as a spoiler to then-Democratic nominee Al Gore. But, that is in the past. That is old news. Nader had brushed off all criticism.

But, Barr said that he did not run for president to hurt McCain.

However, Barr is saying the same thing that Nader has said. But, Barr’s message is directed towards Republicans. Nader’s message was directed towards Democrats.

In the past, Nader said the Democrats have nobody to blame but themselves for the loss.

Barr says if McCain loses this November, the Republicans will have nobody to blame but themselves.

Barr says he is not Nader. However, Nader said that he is not running to be a spoiler.

Though the chances of Barr and Nader of winning this November are between slim and none, it should prove to be quite interesting. Even though Republican Representative Ron Paul of Texas has abandoned his bid for the US Presidency, he still has the Ron Paul Revolution and the Campaign for Liberty going on.

The 2008 US Presidential Election race gets interesting by the day. Now, if the mainstream media would put more attention on Barr and Nader. Then things would get more interesting.

With the factors of Bob Barr and Ron Paul, things look dicey for the GOP.

Is that what you meant to write or was that last word supposed to be Democrats?

Thanks for the correction. Yeah, it was the Democrats. Barr's message was aimed towards the Republicans. Nader's message was aimed towards the Democrats.

    Thanks.

I swear, this Florida heat's getting to me.

It is the humidity. I lived there for 34 years now I am in AZ where it is 20 or 30 degrees hotter and yet it doesn't even make me sweat cause no humidity.

    What part of Florida?

I live in the central part of Florida in Polk County. We've been getting plenty of heavy rains the last few days. When it doesn't rain, the humidity is irritating.

You're right, it is the humidity that is getting to me. This part of Florida is pretty darn humid.

My years were spent in Miami, where I was born and then I lived on Miami Beach with the sand just yards from my door. That was heaven, but hot because of the humidity.
