A 17 year old boy was decapitated Saturday by the Batman ride at Six Flags over Georgia. The boy hopped two fences and entered a restricted zone when he was struck by the ride.
According to a
Foxnews.com article, Park spokeswoman, Hela Sheth said that both fences the boy crossed were both clearly marked with "Danger" and "Do Not Enter".
"We do not know why this person was intent on gaining access to this restricted area."
"Some witnesses have stated that the individual was trying to retrieve something he had lost. Others reported that he was trying to touch the ride. This is merely speculation at this point, and we are working with park visitors and local police to learn more."
No one else on the ride was injured. The identity of the teen killed has not been released.
