The John McCain campaign has come out with a campaign video in conjunction with a hard hitting press release with McCain's proposals on energy and oil and Obama's opposition. The video is called Dr. No and the release headlines with Dr. Nobama.
The video is set to the tune of the popular James Bond movie, Dr. No, with video sound bites of Barack Obama opposing ideas that were presented by McCain about offshore drilling, energy proposals, the gas tax holidays and more.
The release that was sent out, via PRNewswire, headlines with, "Dr. NObama: Why Does Barack Obama Continue to Say No to Energy Solutions That Will Help Americans?" and was issued by the Republican National committee.
The video and release show remarks made by McCain, first at Press Availability in Arlington, Virginia on June 16, 2008, where he proposed lifting the ban on offshore drilling, then they go on to show Obama's response on June 20, 2008, opposing the idea of offshore drilling.
The release goes on to mention John McCain's gas tax holiday proposal, with Obama's opposition to it, McCain's next generation battery and the suggestion that a $3 million dollar prize be offered for the development of it, with Obama's words calling it a gimmick.
On and on the release and the video hit Obama for opposing any solutions offered by John McCain.

The Dr. No theme has gotten some laughs around the blogosphere with many remembering that the original Dr. No was made in 1962 and it was the first in the series of James Bond films, which originally starred Sean Connery.
Senator Jon Kyl of Arizona who is a staunch John McCain supporter, explains the reasoning behind the Dr. No theme, saying that Obama has few positive ideas for addressing a spreading global crisis, and continuing on to state, "No, we can't drill offshore, no, we can't go to the deep waters of the Gulf of Mexico. It's a very negative approach."
