Recently, presumed Democratic nominee Senator Barack Obama of Illinois unleashed the new logo for his campaign. It resembles the U.S. Presidential seal.
The campaign for presumed Democratic nominee Senator Barack Obama of Illinois has a new emblem. This new logo is very similar to that of the United States Presidential seal. But, the logo for Obama’s campaign has a few modifications for it.
There are some slight differences between the Obama campaign logo and the US Presidential seal. Anybody living in the United States old enough should know what the presidential seal looks like. Obama’s campaign logo is similar but it is in only two colors.
On the US Presidential seal, the words of “SEAL OF THE PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES” envelops the whole circle. On the campaign logo, the top says “OBAMA for AMERICA.” The bottom of the logo has the website for Barack Obama.
The American Bald Eagle, the national bird, is also present on the campaign logo. However, the US Presidential seal has a shield. The Obama campaign logo does not. Instead, there is the trademark “O” of the Obama campaign. Slightly above the eagle is the Latin phrase dubbed as “vero possumus.” That is translated into “yes we can.”
Now, it would be interesting to see how many will react to the new logo. Perhaps presumed GOP nominee Senator John McCain of Arizona and the rest of the Republican Party might be able to use this as ammunition against Obama.
