Fox News hires another McCain supporter, former Republican Presidential candidate Mike Huckabee, as a political correspondent.
After being heavily criticized for hiring former senior Bush adviser, Karl Rove, as a political analyst in Feburary, Fox News is once again raising questions about its so-called "fair and balanced" approach to reporting politics.

Mike Huckabee, an ordained Baptist preacher, former Governor of Arkansas, and Neoconservative cheerleader said this of his new position,

"I hope to bring the unique perspective from 'inside the dragon's belly' as well as to try and speak for the millions of hardworking middle-class Americans who really do feel that their voices are not being heard."

Huckabee dropped out of the Presidential race after McCain clinched the nomination in March, but has been mentioned as a possible running mate for McCain. Mike won several caucuses, and placed a close second in a few, but ran into financial problems. He has since formed a political action committee to help raise funds for John McCain and other GOP members.

Both Huckabee and Rove are key supporters of Senator John McCain.

I don't know why anyone should be surprised that the propaganda wing of the Republi-can't party should hire yet another propagandist as a "correspondent." In the Con's dictionary correspondent equals propagandist.

Groan. This is a level of sensitivity a house brick couldn't achieve. The Old Bore Network has created an employment agency, not a news source.

    Mike Huckabee on Fox News.

I just might go back to watching Fox some.

That is if Huckabee is not rude and interrupts everyone that he has on and constantly telling them that they are "WRONG" whenever they try to talk.

Will the media ever be held accountable for failing in their duty to keep the people properly informed?

Not any more, the big corporations own them. Murdoch gets more money by keeping the way it is, why would he change, maybe if someone gives him a billion dollars for it.

Perhaps some readers have watched CNN in the evening (specifically Wolf Blitzer) - the Obama campaign on CNN is going well.

CNN believes that people are stupid and won't pick up on the blatant way they support ANY Dem. for election (just use the second hand on your watch sometime and note the amount of time they give each candidate 3 to 1 in most instances for the Dem.s).

Did any one watch Blitzer's program this past Friday (the segment covering Mc Cain's town hall meeting?). Of ALL those asking questions, CNN focused (propaganda) was on some odd ball who couldn't ask a question.

Read between the lines, when the media "Frames" and edits a story: Friday's coverage of McCain's "Odd Ball" was to slam McCain (CNN's "sly" way of making everyone who goes to a MCCAIN town hall an elderly odd ball who doesn't have enough sense to know how to speak on camera. But ANYONE who goes to an OBAMA rally is totally together and will share in his kingdom). At least R. Murdoch and FOX will admit their bias by who they hire as contributors.

I'm sick of the television news media, and am glad (so far) that I found Digital Journal. Most what's covered on both FOX and CNN is not news worthy or informative.
