As Ron Paul Drops Out Of The Race, His Revolution Remains Alive And Kicking

As Republican Representative of Texas, Ron Paul, has really dropped out of the US Presidential race on Thursday night, the Ron Paul Revolution still flourishes.

That’s right; Republican Representative Ron Paul of Texas had announced his bid to drop out of the United States Presidential race. While Senator John McCain of Arizona had clinched the GOP nomination on the Super Tuesday II contests on March 4, Paul has remained in the race. Paul is on a mission; an interesting mission at that. One could possibly expect to see a throw down from within the GOP in the near future. The Ron Paul Revolution has continued to gain members and supporters through the day. This is something that the GOP and McCain should worry about. Not only does McCain have a tough uphill battle against presumed Democratic nominee Senator Barack Obama of Illinois, he must worry about the Ron Paul Revolution that continues gaining momentum. Ron Paul’s book called “The Revolution: A Manifesto” hit the New York Times bestseller list. They are planning a rally in Minneapolis, Minnesota at the Williams Arena on September 2. It will be during the second day of the GOP Convention at the Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul, Minnesota. This counter-rally could potentially sap attention away from McCain. After dropping out of the race, Paul decided to create the “Campaign for Liberty.” This is aimed to send the message to elect libertarian-leaning Republicans into office across the United States. In short, expect an internal throw down from within the Republican Party itself. “Freedom is very popular. Not only is freedom popular, freedom works,” Paul had said. This campaign will use the very effective grassroots approach. Despite only winning a few delegates, Paul’s movement has been gaining momentum. If the RNC delegate rules were like the DNC delegate rules, McCain might not be the presumed nominee at this moment. Paul has been the only GOP presidential hopeful to speak out against the war in Iraq. He has even received support from both Democrats and Independents. Also, Paul maintains that he will not endorse McCain. So yes, the Ron Paul Revolution is still alive.
