Recently, a 45 year old man in France had snapped back to life. It was perfect timing as his organs were planning to be harvested by doctors.
For a 45 year old man in France, he had woken up in the nick of time. So far, this waking up in the nick of time has sparked and fueled debates of ethics in regards to
organ removal once a person is dead. The man was thought dead as his heart stopped beating for about an hour to an hour and a half.
He suffered a massive heart attack which led to the belief that he was dead. Rescuers tried methods such as cardiac massage and other revival efforts. Still, the man’s heart did not respond. That prompted the doctors to get all scalpel happy in preparation to cutting the man open and removing his organs.
When the doctors were planning to take out the organs, the man started to breathe again. His pupils had once again become active. In short, the man’s heart started to beat once again.
In short, the organ donor was not “dead.”
However, the doctors were working at one of nine hospitals that are allowed to do such transplants those that have heart attacks. In short, the man snapped back to life just in time before people started to take out his organs.
But, it sure will be generating a lot of talks. After being out for one hour to an hour and a half the man snapped back to life. In short, the man was literally under the knife. This ordeal can bring up all sorts of interesting thoughts.
For example, what if the man snapped back to life after two hours? What about three hours? What about a day? This was very random and very scary. But there is one moral to the story: Organ donors, be very careful.
In a nutshell, talk about a total mind blower. Also, imagine if you were in the same shoes as that man. It should get your mind thinking about many possibilities.
