Kerstin Fritzl has woken up from her artificial coma back in April. The admittance of Kerstin to the hospital was the vital key piece that exposed such a horrid secret. When she was admitted, it was revealed that Kerstin Fritzl was the daughter of incest.
It was revealed that for 24 years, Elisabeth Fritzl was locked up in the cellar of the family home by her father, Josef Fritzl. Josef had raped Elisabeth repeatedly. It got to the point where Elisabeth ended up having children of incest with him. Currently, Elisabeth is twenty-three years of age. So far, there are no pictures of what Elisabeth and her children look like out.
That is logical and understandable out of fear of persecution.
This dark secret was discovered when Kerstin was admitted to the hospital. Kerstin fell unconscious which prompted her to be taken to the hospital. If that was not the case, Elisabeth would still be locked up in a cellar.
So far, Kerstin is out of a coma.
