The United States Secretary of State has recently enlisted in the Army, no not that one, the Kiss Army Fan Club, while she was in Sweden.
"Do you know what KISS means?! Knights in Satan's Service!" So claims the line from the 1999 movie Detroit Rock City. One look at the demonesque men clad in black leather and makeup and many have been duped into thinking that is the meaning of the name, but not Condoleeza Rice.
On a visit to Sweden Condi met up with Gene Simmons and other KISS members while they were on tour. She was absolutely thrilled and said the Simmons and other KISS members seemed quite up to speed on the current politics in America. The band signed t-shirts and gave back stage passes to Rice and staff. She agreed to later meet up with the band after she had dinner with the Swedish foreign minister.
Condoleeza has been a fan of KISS and said her favorite song is "Rock and Roll All Nite."
The classically trained concert pianist can now Rock and Roll all night as a new enlistee in the KISS Army.
